An Bord Pleanala Uphold Decision to Grant Permission for Mixed-Use Development in Calverstown

An Bord Pleanala has upheld the decision of Kildare County Council to grant permission for the construction of three number ground floor retail units, with first floor offices,  new entrance to parking at rear, 20 number parking spaces, refuse storage, and all associated site works including connection to existing services, at Calverstown, Kilcullen, County Kildare.  The Council’s decision had been the subject of a third party appeal.  Condition No.2 of the decision grant requires that no works shall commence on site until it is certified in writing by the planning authority that the upgrade of the Calverstown wastewater treatment plant has been completed and commissioned to its satisfaction.
